the quality description for this cloth should actually be "woven frotté" or "woven terry cloth"! It is of the highest quality and is the most durable form of looped fabric. The simpler terms "frotté" or "terry cloth" are better known, however, so we want to keep them as search criteria. Strictly speaking, they apply only to knitted or purled material with a looped stitch and this is lighter and looser. Our material is woven, has more density and is more strongly anchored.
